Our Honeymoon in Boston

With our first anniversary fast approaching (how time flies!), it seems fitting to recap some of our adventures from our first year of marriage. The year has flown by in part because of all the fun things we do. I feel so blessed to have such a fun, loving, caring wife.

We spent our first week of marriage in the Northeast, starting in Boston. Since then I've jokingly (for the most part) looked at finding a way for us to live in Boston during the summer months.

On our first evening we took a duck tour which gave us a good tour of Boston and took us onto the Charles River.

The Freedom Tour trail was a trip highlight. Our guide, 'Robert Newman' was fantastic.

Highlights on the Freedom Trail- Boston Common, the State House, the Granary Burying Ground, the Old Corner Bookstore (which is now a Chipotle), the Old State House, the Paul Revere House, and the Old North Church.

Granary Burying Ground, tomb stones for John Hancock, Paul Revere, James Otis and Samuel Adams are located here.

Couldn't go to Boston without seeing Fenway Park. The Red Sox beat the Twins 1-0 on a sac fly by Mike Napoli.

On our last night we went on a dinner cruise in the Boston Harbor.

The Callahans seek out the best desert places, and we saw folks carrying Mike's Pastry boxes miles away from the bakery. We made multiple trips.

We loved Boston and can't wait to go back!
